Presented by: Melinda English
Critical or difficult conversations, whether you’re telling a client the project is delayed or conducting an unsatisfactory performance review, are an inevitable part of leadership and relationships at work. The recipe for these conversations can vary based on each situation BUT what if you had a few proven ingredients that, if added, would allow you to confidently initiate conversations and navigate the complex issue, emotions, fear, etc. that often keep us from talking at all?
• How should you prepare for this kind of discussion?
• How do you find the right words in the moment?
• And, how can you manage the exchange so that it goes as smoothly as possible?
In this session you will learn how to prepare, initiate, facilitate and respond for any conversation that might be difficult due to the issue, environment or relationship dynamics.
